City of Busselton – Old Courthouse Complex is proud to announce the grand opening of its highly-anticipated staff art exhibition – Not Just a Pretty Face. The event will take place on Thursday 7th December @5PM at 4 Queen Street, and promises to be an evening filled with creativity, inspiration, and a celebration of the artistic talents within our very own staff.
This unique exhibition showcases the diverse talents of the dedicated individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes to bring the magic of the arts to our community. From administrators to technicians, educators to curators, our staff members wear many hats within the complex. This exhibition provides them with the opportunity to don yet another hat – that of the artist.
Not Just a Pretty Face features a wide range of artistic mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. Each piece on display reflects the individuality and passion of its creator, offering a glimpse into the multifaceted talents of the arts complex staff.
"We are thrilled to celebrate the artistic talents of our staff members," said Busselton Cultural Precinct Venue Manager, Sharon Custers. "This exhibition is a testament to the depth of creativity that exists within our organization. It's a reminder that the arts are not just a part of our work; they are an integral part of who we are."
The grand opening event will kick off at 5PM and will include a reception with light refreshments and the opportunity to meet the artists themselves. Attendees will have the chance to engage with the creators, learn about their artistic processes, and perhaps even take home a piece of art to add to their collections.
